Thank you for expressing interest in joining the ARTery Gallery. We are a marketing cooperative for fine art and fine craft artists. As a cooperative, we partner to share the responsibilities for the exhibition and sales of members and selected guest artists artwork.

Our success relies on our commitment to our art and to each other as partners in business.
JURY PROCESS is by necessity stringent and multi-leveled. Professional and emerging visual artists in painting, print making, photography, sculpture and fine craft are welcome to apply. All media are considered. All artists must be juried for acceptance.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS: Currently the gallery offers several types of membership.

GENERAL WORKING MEMBER:

  • One year commitment to cooperative membership.
  • Initial entry partnership fee of $250.00 payable upon acceptance
  • Monthly rent $125.00
  • 15% commission to gallery on sales plus credit card fees if applicable
  • Member is a full partner in the cooperative & actively participates in one or more committees
  • Attends at least three general monthly meetings annually
  • Gallery sits at least two shifts per month … occasionally third shift on a rotating basis

    GENERAL NON WORKING MEMBER: Six month commitment to cooperative with no more than 2 terms

  • Monthly rent $250.00
  • 20% commission to gallery on sales plus credit card fees if applicable
  • Member only exhibits art work, is a consignee and holds no partnership rights
  • There are no “shows” or other member rights, privileges or obligations for “Non Working member Artist”

    GUEST ARTIST: Term is for three months, with no more than 2 terms per calendar year

  • Guest artist has space equivalent to one panel or three standing pieces, hung by curator
  • Cost is $250.00 for three months
  • 20% commission to gallery on sales plus credit card fees if applicable
  • Full payment and work is due on set-up day
  • There are no “shows” or other member rights, privileges or obligations for “Guest Artist”

    NOTE:
    November through March are reserved for specific gallery theme shows and/or events.
