The ARTery Gallery is pleased to announce it’s second annual exhibit of art by students of the Delaware Valley High School in March.
The gallery will share its space with the young artists to celebrate arts in the schools, encourage creativity in our young people and invites the community to share in it with us.
The gallery collaborates with DVHS art teacher Christine Sweeney, to prepare the students work for exhibit.  The students are very enthusiastic about having their work on display outside the school environment. For most, this will be the first opportunity for the student artists to offer their work for sale and have the expeerience of a professional artist. This year’s selections include many 3-D pieces such as ceramics, plaster stone carvings, jewelry and unusual book sculptures. Painting, drawing and printmaking are also represented.

Come join the students, family members and teachers at the opening reception on March 10 from 6-9pm as part of the “Art After Dark” community event which promises to be an enjoyable night on the town in lovely downtown Milford.

The show will run from March 9 – April 9

Karen Kruger, a native of New Jersey, has photographed all over the world. Her most recent collection, on display at the ARTery from November 10th to December 5th, showcases unusual animals and birds from Africa & North America. If we’ve been lucky enough to observe animals in the wild, we feel a sense of awe at watching, smelling and hearing them. We are the trespassers while they move about freely. We admire their strength and their grace, considering some to personify spirits that can guide or protect us.

    The ARTery gallery in Milford PA, will feature eclectic, imaginative renditions of nudes and figures in its April show titled, ”LA BELLA FIGURA”,  a collaborative effort of its co-op artist membership.

    The first show of this type offered at the gallery includes nudes and figures executed in a variety of styles from realism to abstraction using different techniques and medium.  Painted in oils, acrylics or watercolors ; photographed or sculpted in ceramic, metal or stone, this show will offer a diversified and exciting collection of original works.  Opening night reception will be held on Saturday April, 9th from 6 to 9pm.  All are invited to attend and enjoy refreshments while viewing this free event.
